Surely you’ve heard it said that “love is the most powerful force on earth,” right? I think it might be true. And the most obvious visual of that force, is friendship. While “being friends” can sound sort of wimpy and juvenile – reminding us of our kids who text the letters “BFF” to nearly everyone – in reality, friendship is an amazing thing. It provides comfort, direction, a center and, in some ways, life itself. Being a friend and being befriended seem to be crucial to the human experience.
